However, leucs are not very territorial and will generally get along no matter what the sex, as well as in groups, provided they have enough space, while tinctorius are territorial and females may fight. These are best kept in mated pairs. You will probably be getting fairly young frogs that haven't been sexed yet. But if they are adults, the males have somewhat larger, more fluted appearing front toe pads--about twice the size of the hind toe pads, while females have toe pads that are not much larger than the hind ones. Males of either species tend to be more slender, a bit smaller, while females are more round in the belly.
