Hi Benjamin Thanks for your reply...this coachwhip was sold as an Eastern, he certainly is quite differently coloured from my other Westerns,but yes there is no strong 'black' pigment.He may be a 'cross over' type or something??..most of the dark pigment is patchy around the head.Mike has the other 'Eastern' that was sold to us...this really does look like the photo's I have seen of Eastern coachwhips...However mine is still a lovely coachwhip,I'm looking forward to him reaching maturity.
Yes ..the Coluber jugularis have been great ,eating and shedding etc. regularly..however they are very,very shy...only eating when there is nobody around!...I'm giving them a short cooling period at the moment till around the end of March....what a pity they are both males
