Some one gave me a red eared slider today. She is about 7 inches long. I don't know anything about her care except she was kept at room temps in an unheated house. She doesn't appear sick but she is pink. Literally a pinkish color is coating her skin. She feels slimy. I have bathed her in a mild betadine solution and scrubed her skin with a soft tooth brush. I rinsed well and am now drying her out a bit. I am warming her up slowly and alot of the pink is gone or much lighter. (Seen this color in stuff in my frigerator once in a while and it does not belong on a living animal!LOL) I am assuming the pink stuff is a fungus of sorts. Any ideas or advice for this poor pink girl. Thanks
