whats the size difference? if its a hatchling ide be careful. my female yellow belly laid eggs in her pond area and i didnt know about it until i found just the half eatin shell of one of her offspring at the bottom of the pond. even if they are a few inches in size difference they can cause bad injury to each other. Hatchlings have soft shells and are very vulnerable and aldults will try and eat just about anything.
