This is an extremely difficult question, and I have never found anyone at FL Fish & Game that can give you a straight answer. Reputable dealers in Florida will generally not sell you a Boomslang or Twig Snake without a Class 1 permit, however they will generally sell you just about any other rear fanged snake without any state documentation. I have heard of people not being able to purchase anything in the Boiga family from some dealers without a Class 1, but other dealers will sell them without a problem. If you can find an absolute answer to this question, or a list of species please let me know.
