In 2005 I found a Cal king on Whitewater Rd. that was very light for the area. This snake was a juvenile at the time of the photo and shouldn't even be this light as an adult from the area. A few years before, me and some friends found a 54" king from the same area that was still a lot darker than this king. I won't consider it hypo until I prove it out, but until then I'm calling it a possible hypo. In person the snake seems to have a slight transparent look in the brown.
