Looking for a good RES vet in NYC area

Hello everyone,



I share an apartment in Brooklyn with a wonderful five-year-old RES named Stanley, who has unfortunately been having some problems with his shell lately (some flaking off the top). It doesn't seem like anything major -- he has a whopping appetite and is very active -- but I'd like to make sure he's in the best of health.



Can anyone recommend a good vet in NYC or the surrounding area (LI, NJ) where I could take Stan for a check-up? I'm taking a look at the directory on the ARAV website as well, but if there's someone who's particularly experienced with sliders that you guys can vouch for, please do share!
