Foremost-separate the two turtles! Turtles of equal size only should be housed together.
The injured turtle is young, resilent and could recover if it is NOT stressed out by a larger, aggessive turtle. If it has space to itself it may be able to heal. But a stressed out turtle may bot be able to heal. It's like a human, we get bed rest, quite and TLC to get over an illness or injury. You have to provide that for your one month old turtle.
