don't worry, they are confusing, there's just so many different colors and patterns, many cresteds don't fit neatly into one category, and new morphs are still being developed. and people's opinions on what constitutes a flame, harlequin, extreme harlequin, or super dalmatian differ greatly, it's all subjective. i really don't give my input on most morph inquiries because i'm usually as clueless as the next person, but this one i'm sure on. if you don't have it, i would recommend getting this book:

it's out of print and won't be available much longer. it's morph guide and pics can be confusing, but it has a lot of other good info on all the rhac species, and they are addicting. cresteds are the "gateway gecko" LOL



also, the other forums are much more active with crested folks, and user-friendly.
