They are found in the same area as Dendropsophus leucophylatta (clown tree frogs) and Hyla punctata. Bog side swamps in south america. They breed on floating vegetation and lay their eggs on the submersed roots of these plants. Here is a 29 gallon tank that I set up for them, but they came down with a fungus before shipping, so I declined. I am raising up some clowns now to go in this tank.
