Ok , lots of possible things going on here.
I have hatched out over 500 cresteds and never lost a hatchling due to not eating ,so no need to panic.

First off you have had him since the 15th.Any reptile refuses to eat for a few days when thrown into a new enviorment .

Secondly right now he is probally particuarly interesting being new and getting shown off a lot. The extra attention causes stress as well .And will slow down the eating.

Assuming he has had some time to calm down

a) cresteds are very private eaters .They prefer to sneak out late at night with the lights off and grab a few licks.A young one makes so small a dent you are not likely to notice any gone.

b) does he have enough cover to help keep the stress down?

c)crickets once a crested get a little older are very difficult to resist and they will come out after them. But at a young age the babyfood is a lot like candy and they fill up on it.

d)its winter and if your house isnt around 70 or higher most of the time they dont eat as much or as often.

d) all you need to do..is make sure your cage has enough cover ,isnt in a high traffic area of the house and is warm enough .Put a pepsi cap full of food in and leave at least overnight .Mist a couple of times particuarly if humidity is lower than 70% (I always keep a cap of water next to the food as well,Because I dont mist all the time.)And your gecko will do just fine.

eventually switch over to crested gecko diet.Babyfood has a ton of sugar and crested gecko diet has all the calcium vit and minerals your crested will need which baby food does not. Crickets are good for better growth and letting your crestie hunt but are not nearly as necesarry once your using crested gecko diet. Dont switch right now until he is settled in with everything else , because they resist the switch at first.
