This was a cute little racer (Coluber constrictor) no doubt murdered by some ignorant jackass. I live in California. Out here white trash go to the desert to shoot desert tortoises and anything else that moves or doesn't for that matter. If this was in Miami it is an everglades racer; a subspecie of the southern black that may resemble the larger blue racer of the north and midwest.
