I first started tokays 20 years ago. I was 12 years old and by this time had hatched 2 cluthes of corns. my foks had just gotten a devorse, me and mom were living in a dump of an app.

my pops and brother lived in our old house. i would spend all of my time in the local pet shop. the owner woukd let me feed all the fish and rodents. He told me when I got good at this he would let me work with his "les than steller cast of herps".

little did he know I at 12 years new he was a carney.well he got in a large wild tokay male, so with a heavy heart i went too my pops and asked for the $12 and was on my way to gecko glory. 3 hrs after bringing my quary home too place it in a well planned cage I had to make a frantic call to my pops too come save me from the creature from hell. when pops got there he found me and my budy in the kitchen. Both of us looked like we had just been shot at and pops wanted to know were this killer of young he boys dared to hide. in the other room was a dish towle wich hid and conseald the most evil thing two young herpers had ever seen.

So after hearing my tale pops in his les than eager way dawned a pair of weldig gloves and scooped up the beast. For the first time in my life I seen feer hit the old mans face. the towle roled back and this moderday t-rex turned gack and locked ahold of glove,finger and made the most terrifing noise that I had never heared.

So we got him put in the cage and as I looked around the room I knew that i was now and forever hooked. I have 20 years of great tales that all still make me giggle. if you want a tokay or two get three. there thougher than nails and eat like teenage boys pretty as a prom quine and meen as hell. what moore could you ask for, no better way to top off the old collection.
