sounds about right, you can max out your tank space if you build a canopy over the tank. and make sure your lighting provides heat and UVB. also use a very good filtaration system, on this one i use an undergravel filter and a fluvel 304, i also use crayfish which help alot more than you would think, they just need some heavy rocks to hide under or they will become lunch. i feed a varied diet of pellets, insects, and rodents. i dont use feeder fish because they are putrid animals.also if you only want one turtle, i would recommend a male. female r.e.s. get really big. hope this helps, any one feel free to fill in anything i may have forgotten. sorry the photos are so dark, my camera sucks.
