There is only a hand full of people working with them in the country. There is only two or three Naultinus sp. even bred in captivity. You cant get wild caught because New Zealand banned import/export from there. Anyone with them in the US is trying to establish a colony so there arnt many sold in a year, on top of that you get one to two babys a year. THEN if you do happen to find some your looking at a price tag between 2000 for a single animal up to 8-10,000 for a pair. They are truly amazing animals. I've seen them in person and they just dont look real. If you have a chance to get some cheap grab them. They are not the most easy animal to keep either.
