A couple posts back, I mentioned that I had picked up some plastice plants that were reptile/fish safe. I have been using them now for about 2 years in my terrariums and I have a friend that uses them in his aquarium. I could swear that the bamboo variation is the same plant but larger version sold in big pet stores. They are 32 inches long and they sell for 9.99 @ Michael's craft store but they are always on sale for 50% off. All the same, 10 bucks for them is a helluva deal compared how far 10 bucks would go for plastic plants in pet stores. Garden Collection Greenery is the brand name.

Disclaimer: I use the bamboo on the right and have yet to use the plant variation on the left. I have not had a problem with geckos trying to eat the bamboo but please be advised that the variation on the left, though tough, has much thinner/smaller leaves and may not be best for the geckos (as it would be for smaller lizards/geckos or cover for frogs) due to accidental ingestion of the plant. These are very sturdy and do not break apart nearly as easily as typical aquarium plants but I feel better noting this.
