Hi
I have a snake in yard think its a black racer he/she is usually found by my pond .
by the time I am within 10 feet of pond it takes off through fence .
I wanted to catch it to take some pics . Dont want a glue trap or anything that could harm it or any other snake .

Anyone have any ideas ? Someone suggested taking large plastic bucket or small storage bin with lid put grass, sticks inside with make small opening in lid (ofcourse bucket laid on side) snake will crawl in and stay in.

I cant fathom snake just staying in but will give it a shot unless someone has tried better trap.

Thanks
