The battery would last about a month, and charged right back up in hours. It worked flawlessly... I was able to vaccum dirt, rocks and of course ants with no problem at all. The entire thing cost me about 25 or 30 dollars. You could probably still get the same plastic vacuum at Rite Aid for about ten dollars. I got a small charger for about 12 dollars at a electronic surplus store. I've also seen these chargers a few bucks cheaper at a local store known as Harbor Freight tools. They're online as well.
