sorry, I didn't realize at first that this was a toad you found in the wild. If you are trying to figure out what kind it is then it should be very doable even without color to go by. Often it comes down to looking at the shape of the paratoid glands, cranial crests, and the size of the bumps or, "warts".
This website has some decent information on southern vs. marine toads. I'm sure you can find better info on the other two species found in florida (oak and fowlers).
