I had a pair of Japa's untill last night, unfortunatly. Same story, female was active, head bobing, stomach swelling. Something must have gone wrong though because she compleatly shut down, stoped eating and lost all energy. I took her to the vet and got antibiotic, but after one week of treatment, she passed away. Good luck with your eggs though. My girl layed unfertal eggs last year, but just layed them on top the soil.
