They may get along fine for a short time but soon that Staurotypus will become what it is...a real terror!
They do very well as captive hatched specimens, in fact almost too well. You have to be careful and avoid overfeeding.
They make fantastic display animals though as they are extremely responsive. But,the hatchlings are kind of shy at first. Once they grow to about two inchers they become much more outgoing and begin 'begging' for food.
