The tail does already look swollen and you can see some blood clotting... she'll probably lose it. In addition to what LadyP said, we have successfully used a product called "Bio Mist" from Trex for crestie sheds. It is nice because it has natural oils (ok, jojoba is a liquid wax) and electrolytes for rehydration and skin conditioners. The other advantage is the bottle has a very fine mist and we find cresties aren't bothered by being misted with the product at very close range and we can get more of the product on before the gecko figures it has put up with us enough. (Even one girl with some shed on her eye... no, I have no idea how she accomplished that, but she did. Got the shed off of one of her crests and then stuck it to her eye for a week.)
