They are more aggresive, have shorter incubation periods, usually larger clutches, are less prone to intimidation from other anole species, and they will eat green anole babies. I'm not sure if that is a true brown anole, but it certainly looks like one that is irregularly patterned (usually have diamonds running down back), but it might be a subspecies X subspecies.
