>>I was wondering if there was any way to tell the sex of my new red eyes? One is a darker green and the other is a much brighter green. I wasn't for sure if the color difference meant diferent genders?>>
The following applies to most treefrogs: Males call; females don't. Males are smaller; females are larger. Males have nuptial pads at the base of their thumbs; females do not. In some species, males have visibly dark colored vocal sacs.
According to W. E. Duellman (1970, Hylid Frogs of Middle America), male Redeyed treefrogs have snouts that are "sharply angled from the nostril to the snout", but "in females, the snout anterior to the nostrils is truncate." Males also have slightly larger tympani or eardrums. Males of the redeyed treefrog reach a maximum of around 2.2" (56mm) snout to vent length, but females can reach a maximum length of around 2.8 inches (71mm).
