I'm looking in to getting a frog, and I'm trying to set up a terrarium, but I keep running into the same problem--about 4-7 days after I get it set up, everything is covered in white, fuzzy mold. Is there any way to prevent this? I'm using items, such as substrate and accessories, specifically designed for amphib habitats. I've tried a couple different types of substrates, and I've tried different humidity sources (dripper, misting mountain, misting with a spray bottle), but I keep getting mold growth! The only thing I've tried that didn't grow mold was using bark chips and just a dish of water, but then my meter said it was only about 28% humidity in the habitat. Any suggestions? Thanks!
