I live in the Mojave Desert of So Cal and its definately not a banded. It doesnt have eyelids and it does have toe pads. With tail it was probably 5 inches long. Unforyunately, when I picked it up it dropped its tail. Coloring is a sand-tan color as base with brown spots. It has gold eyes with vertical pupils. I have posted a pic in the gecko photo area.
