Or close, anyway. He was basically grounded in a ten gallon tank with an UTH, didn't climb, didn't eat much, and was a dull greenish gold when he was surrendered 1-2 weeks ago. So I moved him to my wildlife room that is unair conditioned, and is basically a giant open air cage. He is in a bigger tank, and I removed the under tank heater. Since the overnights aren't dropping below 78 out there and daytime temps are hitting 90 by 11am, and staying below 95, I am using ZERO heat or lights, night or day.
He is climbing, eating and he is now a bright yellow gold, and you wouldn't know that he has only three feet unless you look very closely, as he can MOVE! This is the easiest lizard that I have here! ![](images/smiles/smile.gif)
Does this mean that SE Texas is is a similar environment to Viet Nam??? ![](images/smiles/wink.gif)
