Hi,

I'll try to post some pics of my male and female when I get a chance, but, in general:

males are larger overall, have larger heads and will show the "hemipenal bulges (sp?)" at the base of their tales when mature

females don't have the bulges at the base of their tails behind the cloaca. I have seen some big females, but generally they are smaller.

Both can have huge dewlaps in my experience.

There are no pre or post anal scales like in the Green Anole or no recognizable color differences overall. I've heard that hatchling males have yellow cross bands that go away as they grow, but I don't know how accurate that is.

Again, I'll try to post some pics in the next few days.

chuck
