I have used both methods, & though diapause syncronizes and predictably gets the babies full term all at the same time, it seems to give you very weak hatchlings, and most do not hatch succesfully, dying after the eggs sweat. You get mixed results that way, but I definitely recommend leaving them at 68-70F for the entire incubation....30g vermiculite, and 20g water. Be prepared for a very long incubation with a spread out hatching...anywhere from 10-18 months. Some babies may be near full-grown while others are still hatching out. Regardless, it's the proper way to go and gives you healthy babies with near 100% hatch rates. Good luck...no matter what anyone may tell you, they are not a beginner species, and are very unpredictable. They are also my favorite species and very rewarding and worth the effort!
