I have some heat tape and may lay a strip of it under the cage, under the end where I can put some bricks with a nice duffy ultrafine alluvial soil I got from the banks of the Salt River in Arizona to use for desert lizards to lay in. The soil makes great burrows without cave-ins, holds and wicks moisture beautifully and is fine enough for the smallest desert lizards to easily dig in.
