What a crazy series of events. Sorry to hear of your loss.

In spotted news of my own, I've been speaking with a spotted breader that lives in San Antonio b/c she keeps her spotteds outside year round. I didn't think this was possible b/c of the heat we experience in Texas, but she said she's done it since '92. She said as long as they get just morning sun, meaning whatever you keep them in faces east, they're just fine.

That is really exciting news. I've wanted to keep my spotted in a bigger, outdoor setup, so once I have my back patio built this summer I'm going to setting something up, and add a couple of spotteds
