I raised my two turtles from hatchlings. They weren't thrilled with Repto-Min either but now they gobble it up like Pac-Mans. One is three and one is two. Like the previous poster noted, paints don't care too much for greens until they are older-they do enjoy hiding under them though! If you live in a zone that has cold winters you may want to find a pet store or bait shop where you can get worms etc. in the winter months. Good luck and if you've never had a turtle for a pet before you will be amazed at how smart and wonderful they are. You'll see them as little beings with personalities and not just reptiles.
