Thank You for the good information. I bought me three Tribbies anout 3 years ago and was told they would be fine in a 5 gal. with newspaper on the bottom. I'm glad I had enough knowledge about Reptiles overall to question this.

I had a aquintance that had breed many differnt reptiles and always told me to check where the animals came from and then make that enviroment.

I have mine in a 40 gal tank with 1/3 water with filtration, waterfall and minnows. I planted the live tropical plants that come from Petco, I think it is. I generally feed them crickets, mealworms, butterworms and waxworms as a treat. Have you ever experienced your Lizards eatting or... I guess you could say baiting fish? I have never caught mine actually eatting fish. But I average about 10 fish a month and I have seen them triing for over the 3 years I have had them.

I caught them this morning mating. I tried to take some pictuures without a flash, but at first look they appeared to dark. I have been triing to take photos of them fishing. But as you proubly know, they are very secretive and with all the plants, mist on the glass. It is hard to get a decent photo with out them taking flight. I found it odd that. The last 3-4 days I have heard them cohing, coohing (sorry for the spelling) before I caught them mating. Not the loud vocals they do when alarmed.

I am always triing to learn more about these interesting animals. Any info is always greatly appreciated. I know that the 5 gal with paper wouldn't of worked for sure now. I always learn with these Guys, maybe that is why they are so interesting to me.
