Posted by: megalon at Sat Jun 28 08:09:41 2008 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by megalon ] i think that it depends on the size of the snapper.my last one wouldn't touch small,baby(less than 2 " total length) bluegills and other bream until she was about 6" or so.if you feed bream or bluegills,be careful of the sharp spines in the dorsal fins.i used to just snip them off with a small pair of scissors or fingernail clippers.my new baby likes the small bream cut into strips.so yeah,if you feed them live,cut off the dorsal fin,or cut them into strips.
