Anything less than the size of a small room and you run the risk of the two males killing each other. They are extremely territorial. A 55 would be fine for all of them except one of the males. Keep him separate. Or do two 40s and split them into two groups so each male has a female or two. Make sure the enclosure is well planted so the females can get away from the males if they need to.
