Some more ventilation is probably not a bad thing. As for the fuzzy on CGD, I've seen what you describe a few years ago, but that was after a rash of near 100% humidity here and the diet was left out for more than 24 hours.

I would bet there might be some spores on your feeding dish if you are reusing it. Give it a good sanitation in bleach adn water or run it through the dishwasher on hot cycle and heat dry then try again. Also do this with any spoons or other items you use to prepare the diet. Just a thought, might do the trick. Sometimes soap and water aren't enough to get rid of spores.
