I recently found something labeled as a "Rainbow Lacerta Lizard" in a local pet store and can't find any information on this species. My assumption is that the listed name is not their accepted common name. I can try to get photos some time this week if needed but have any of you heard this name and know what it is? It looked to be somehow related to ameivas. It seemed somewhat iridescent with many lengthwise yellow stripes. The background color changed from a deep blue to a deep red but I can't remember which end was which color. If none of you have heard the name before I will see if the pet store will allow me to take a picture.

Thanks,
Kiley
