Posted by: megalon at Tue Jul 8 19:13:58 2008 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by megalon ] if the painted's of breeding age,who knows?i had a male spotted turtle doing the nasty with a female eastern painted for a couple hours,but the female was unfortunately killed by a dog that got in my yard 2 weeks later,so i have no way of knowing if the mating was successful.personally,i think that it all has to do with how frisky the male is.my spotted will breed the rocks in his cage,probably.hope this helps!
