My uro is going through a dorsal shed, and it appears to be having a tough time coming off. I took him(her) out of his enclosure and misted just his back. The skin bubbled up nicely and peeled right off. He also looks like he's had a shed that started to peel off his head and then stopped. And he appears to have a foot that's shedding, but not easily. I don't want to soak him or add humidity to his cage, so now what to do?

He's never had a complete shed and I've had him for a year. I bought him from a herp show, likely wild caught (I know, I know), and the past year has been acclimation, finding what he eats, deworming, etc. He now happily eats collards, turnips, yellow squash, zucchini, hibiscus, a little mango on occasion, seed, lentils, and iguana pellets. Basking temp is 120, he's active and has a nice hidey spot. I don't handle him, but he does come up to me, let me pet him a bit, and eats from my hand.
