I personally have two animals in my possession that were captured as adults in 1971. They were given to me by George Van Horn, Venom reasearch biologist at Reptile World Sertpentarium in St Cloud Florida. I have had them for going on four years and have successfully bred the female and hatched two clutches of eggs. She took last year off and now is gravid again. I would guess she is at least 50. The male wich was captured at the same time looks to be younger than her by his structure. Her face is starting to sink in a little and her beads have gotten a little softer(Like an old lady)THe male looks like my younger animals. Hence my guess at age. Anyway I just wanted to share some facts with you all.
Take care
