I am always light with grapes. I know they can cause kidney issues in other animals (including humans) when eaten to often. Cabbage and carrot are both bad on the CA/PH levels.
What you want to find is food that is 2 calcium to 1 phosphorus. The diet I listed in a recent post is one I have been using for 13 years now and has worked quite well. It is the same to the one Jiffypop uses as well.
While it is the best diet for our home, it can be varied. But the most important thing is to watch those CA/PH levels in the foods. ----- Cindy PHFaust
