You also panacur your animals or just do it if it seems they need it? I have suspected in Medina County where I live we have what is called Belgian soils it is rich and dark type soil not too rocky, although in Texas their are rocks everywhere, but I have long suspected that it would be an excellent study for someone to take samples of ants from different areas even with in our own state Fireside and then have them evaluated. I think you also might be hitting on a probability too that it might indeed be fungal in nature. I'd love to see Dr. Snelling check this out.....
