>>Does anyone have experience feeding Mazuri tortoise diet to chucks. I tried it today and they seemed to really like it. Is there any reason why it would be bad for them?

I use the Mazuri tortoise diet as a supplement and recommend it especially for females early in the season. One of the Primate diets is also useful. In my opinion, the main diet of chuckwallas is green perennials (weeds), with flowers an important ingredient too... everyone I know of who has tried pellets or other commercial products instead of a steady diet of mixed leafy greens has had sub-standard results.
.
Hope that helps.
