I just think they (phoneix worms aka BSF larva) are gross, that's all.

BTW I wouldnt feed my chams a diet of only mealworms for any length of time either. Especially if your pet sitter isnt comfortable sorting through a pile of mealworms to select only soft, freshly moulted ones (as the older ones are tougher to digest). But if you could offer the phoenix larva as well as mealworms, butterworms, even a wax worm or two - wouldnt your chameleon be happier? I would guess your pet sitter, if comfortable with phoenix larva, would be comfortable with other larva. I'm assuming its the legs that bothers you pet sitter regarding crickets and such?
