no they can not, but the temp does play a huge role in the babies ability to thrive. they can hatch from anywhere between a high of 78 to 80, to a low of 65(which i have seen for those who dont believe me) i go around 68 with very good results. at 78, the geckos only incubate for around 50 days, and come out very small, while at the lower temps the geckos hatch around 80 to 90 days and are much better in all aspects. the sex has never been a factor, ive had one of 2 be male and the other female, ive had males and females at both the lower and higher temps ive kept eggs, low being 68, high being 75.
