I agree with Mike,.....newborn and newly hatched snakes usually have a good supply of yolk in their belly that gives them a good "head-start" in the wild until they acquire a feeding response. They should start to feed in a week or better providing you give them secure burrowing/hiding areas to make them feel hidden. This is extremely important for MANY types of young nenate snakes. They DO NOT feel comfortable out in the open, and therefore many times will not feed.....good luck with them!
