I have an 11 year old male that is about 40-45lbs. So far he doesn't burrow. He has a large dog house he sleeps in. He eats mostly bermuda grass. He has a cement mixing tub for a water bowl. You would need to keep him separate from your dog. Sulcatas will eat dog poo. You would also need to closely watch your two year old because males like to ram things. They are much quicker than you think and could easily knock over a child or dog.
