My usual thing is snakes, but my friend is attempting to breed cresteds for the first time after having one as a pet for a while, and had some questions about behavior. My friend has had the female for about a year, and added a male about a month ago. She (the friend) doesn't know if they've actually bred yet, but has been making appropriate preparations. Before, the female had been really docile and pleasant. Now, after about 2 weeks of them being together, the female has displayed unusually aggressive behavior- sometimes fighting with the male, sometimes just attacking things outside the glass, etc. Do you experts have any idea why this might be, and might it have something to do with breeding? Thanks for any help. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
