I'm still having a problem with one of my babies. See post "what do i do" . I've put it on wet paper towels and it has shed. The situation now is that the baby seems to have a complete shed every week! Is this even close to normal?????
Sequence of events: Baby goes into a bad shed Mon. , i put a wet papertowel on the bottom and by Thru. the baby has shed usually with a bit of help from me and a q-tip. , I put the baby back on normal dry paper towel and mist twice a day. By the next Mon. it's in another bad shed. Today i just soaked the baby then rubbed it down with a q-tip till there was no shed left.
If i can ever sell this baby it will be used to being held! It is eating fine. In fact, today it ate 2 baby mealworms. I have just never heard of anything shedding this often! Also what are the ethics of selling a gecko that has a shedding problem? If u tell ppl will they buy it or should i just keep it? Also, are shedding problems genetic? If I breed this gecko will all the babies have shedding problems?
thank you for reading this.
