I have always kept newborn greens up to large adults just like I would a retic or burmese python. Newspaper substrate, small water bowl, hide box for any individual under 8 feet. I try to keep the humidity between 65% and 70%, but it occasionally will drop to around 60%. This has worked well and I have never had a health issue with a green. They have always feed and grown exceptionally well under these conditions. They have also bred successfully under these same conditions on several occasions as well. I discourage the use of large pools as I do not believe they are necessary for the well being of this species, and they appear to thrive without their use.
